Homeless Awareness Sleep Out
The Local Homeless Coordinating Board is hoping to raise awareness throughout the community by organizing a Sleep Out. Bring your tent, your tarp, or your cardboard box and join us at the Iowa Veteran’s Home on Saturday, November 7th for a Sleep Out. Bring your decorated cardboard box as part of our box celebration!
***New Location at IVH, enter off of Jerome St and follow the signs***
Schedule of Events:
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM Registration and setup
6:00 PM – 6:30 PM Supper
6:30 PM – 7:00 PM Program
7:00 PM – 8:00 AM Sleep out
Support those in need.
House of Compassion is in need of personal care items and cash donations to
purchase items.
