Re: One probable case of Swine Influenza A (H1N1) Virus reported in Marshall County
Updated information as of 9:00 am May 1, 2009 According to the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) there is one probable case of the H1N1 virus in Marshall County. This will need to be confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Confirmation could take 24-48 hours. As you heard in the Governor’s press conference this morning the probable case is a adult male who is at home in isolation. This is all the information we have at this time regarding this case. The IDPH is investigating further. Please take precautions for yourself and your loved ones. This is not cause for undue alarm. An update will be available later this afternoon.
