On 3-11-10, officers with the Marshalltown Police Department took a report of a break-in at 911 S 7th Ave. The home owner advised their house had been burglarized and items taken. An investigation into this led to a search at another residence and an arrest.

Arrested was: Joseph Hinojosa (9-17-89) of Marshalltown. He was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony. He was processed and released with a court appearance date. Most all the items taken were recovered. This incident is still under investigation.
