On 05-04-10 at 1744 hrs the Marshalltown Police Department responded to the 10 blk of E Grant St. in regards to a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene.

When officers arrived they spoke with several witnesses who provided them with the name of the suspect and vehicle description. Officers also spoke with the victim who had been transported by ambulance to MMSC and he too identified the suspect by name.

The victim whose name is not being released was treated for minor injuries at MMSC and released.

Based upon the investigation the Marshalltown Police Department has obtained Arrest Warrants for the following individual on charges of Willful Injury a Class “C” Felony and Striking an Unattended Vehicle a Simple Misdemeanor.

Gregory Irwin Jones 28 yrs old B M 5”07 150 Blk hair and Bro eyes of Marshalltown,Iowa.  Attached is a photograph of Jones.
