On 06-08-10 at 0251 hrs the Marshalltown Police Department received a call of underage persons consuming alcohol inside the Memories Bar and Reception Hall at 1010 W Lincolnway.

When officers arrived they went into the business and located an underage female employee and the owner Ricky Dean Rushton inside. The officers during their investigation did find evidence to support the complaint that there was alcohol being consumed by both the underage employee and Rushton. Rushton was also found to be in possession of a prescription drug.

As a result of this investigation the owner of Memories was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

Ricky Dean Rushton White Male 49 yrs old of 1914 Blossom Road Marshalltown, Iowa was charged with the following.

1.      Providing Alcohol to a Minor a (Serious Misdemeanor).

2.      Possession of a Prescription Drug a (Serious Misdemeanor).
