General Admission

Pay Policy
ALL who enter the facility pay. No exceptions for anyone at anytime. Spectators and non-swimmers must pay.Cash-only, no checks or credit cards accepted at the Aquatic Center.
Passes
Swim passes can be purchased ONLY at the Parks & Recreation office.
All season pass prices include tax.
"Family" is defined as up to two adults residing at the same address and up to four legally supported children ages 18 and under. Only two exceptions are allowed: Children up to age 23 who are post-secondary students, and adult dependents claimed on income tax may be counted as part of the 6. Proof may be required.
Swim tickets
A book of 10 tickets can be purchased at the Parks and Recreation Office with cash, check, or credit card, and also at the Aquatic Center---cash only. No checks or credit cards are accepted at the Aquatic Center. Cost: $37.50
Come & Go Passes
Those who have paid a daily admission and want to leave the facility for any reason and return that same day may ask for a Come & Go Pass. The pass, along with $1.00, allows re-entry to the Aquatic Center on that day.
Pool Closing
The Aquatic Center may be closed due to lack of attendance, bad weather or when temperature is below 70 degrees.
Lack of attendance: If there are fewer than 40 swimmers n the first two hours the Center will close and a Come and Go Pass will be issued that can be used when the pool reopens at 4:00 p.m. If attendance drops below 40 after 6:00 p.m., the Center will be closed for the day.
Weather: Rain checks will be issued if the pool closes because of rain or thunderstorms. Closings and reopenings will be on local radio stations, Facebook & Twitter, Aquatic Center answering machine (844-1515) and Parks & Recreation recorded information line (754-5779).
Food/Coolers/Lawn Chairs
Bringing in coolers and food is prohibited. There are a limited number of chairs at the aquatic center. Lawn chairs (no chaise lounges) may be brought and used on the grass areas only.
Swim Lessons
Marshalltown Parks and Recreation will be offering swim lessons this summer. Red Cross guidelines will be followed.
