Adult Water Walking
Beginning May 31st, 2010 Water Walking is offered from 11:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m., Monday through Saturday and 7:45 - 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
This is a great solution for summer fitness! Water's buoyancy and resistance make water walking ideal, especially for people with back, knee, or ankle pain and/or arthritis. (Children age 10 and up may walk with an adult). There are both steps and an easy entrance ramp into the water. All who enter the facility during this time must water walk or lap swim. No one allowed on deck.

*On Splash dance nights there will be no evening water walking--- June 16, June 30, July 14, July 28 and August 11.
Lap Swimming
Beginning May 31st, 2010 lap lanes are open and available at the Aquatic Center Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and from 7:45 - 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Adult/Tot Swim
This activity is designed for children 6 years old and younger, accompanied by an adult, to enjoy the zero depth area of the Aquatic Center with the water features off. It's an ideal time to introduce children to the Aquatic Center. The interactive S.C.S. play structure will be open along with the area from zero-depth entry to the steps. The adult must actively supervise their children.
Splash Dances
Join the fun when the pool is set-aside just for those who will be entering grades 6-9. The music will be blasting and the pool is waiting! The fun happens from 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. at the Aquatic Center on the following Wednesdays: June 16, June 30, July 14, July 28 and August 11.. Admission is $3.00. (Season passes are not accepted.)
2nd Annual Passholder Swim Night
Saturday night August 14 has been set aside for 2010 Season Pass Holders only. Swimming, fun family activities and multiple drawings--including a half-price 2011 season pass-- must be present to win. Come out and join the fun! Concessions will be available.DATE: August 14th from 6:15 - 8:15 p.m.
2nd Annual Dog Days of Summer
Now it is time for the dogs to have some fun in the sun at the Aquatic Center!!!! Humans are allowed in the water at their own risk along with their dog(s). To gain entry to the event owners must show that their dog(s) have current rabies and distemper vaccinations. No dogs in heat allowed. Rules and regulations may be obtained at the Parks and Recreation Office or at the Aquatic Center.
